It was just a few months ago when we told you about how 17 Elk Grove Unified School District students signed letters of intent for NCAA college scholarships. Now, an additional 12 student-athletes in the school district are signing letters of intent for Division I and Division II NCAA scholarships.

These 12 student-athletes will be attending colleges in California and across the country. The students, which participated in soccer and football, represent the type of dedication and determination that the school district promotes.

Families, principals, and coaches joined the students during the signing ceremony that was held on Feb. 6.

The Elk Grove Unified School District is the state’s fifth-largest school district. It includes 67 total schools and offers a variety of educational programs. In addition to great athletic programs, the school district prides itself on incorporating rigorous academics with career-based learning and workplace experiences students will see in the real world.

It is no wonder so many families are setting down roots in the area. Good schools are a key part of the home-buying process. If you are thinking about purchasing real estate in the Elk Grove area, don’t hesitate to reach out to one of our professionals to discuss your options.
