You can now get your hands on donuts made by one of the area’s favorite and more creative bakeries. BAD Bakers is now open for business in Elk Grove.
Some residents in Elk Grove are already familiar with the bakery, which first opened back in 2013 in Natomas. The business quickly expanded, opening shops in Roseville, and most recently in Elk Grove, Folsom and Arden.
The owners appreciate the city’s close-knit, family focused community. That’s one big reason they wanted to set up shop in Elk Grove.
BAD Bakers, which stands for bread and donuts, is family owned. The owners were inspired while traveling in the Philippines to take on a new challenge of creating delicious and unique donuts.
A recent offering, the Back-To-School Apple donut with pretzels, is one of many examples of how BAD Bakers dazzles customers.
The menu is broken into three main categories: donuts, bread and savory. Customers can pick from cake donuts, kronuts and raised donuts, including the Movie time (with popcorn), Shorty Cake and Cookie Kraving donut creations.
Bread Bad Bun, Pan de Sal, filled rolls and Ensaymada round out the bread menu.
For something savory, try the empanadas, hot dogs, lumpia, ham and cheese and jalapeno cream cheese kolaches.
BAD Bakers Elk Grove is located at 8403 Elk Grove Boulevard.
