As the nation and the world continues to fight back against the coronavirus, there’s need all around us.

And people are stepping up to meet the challenge.

Here at home, the Elk Grove Food Bank continues to serve those in need, delivering an essential community service.

Employees and volunteers of the Food Bank have been cleared to continue to work – and you can be part of the fight:

  • Make a financial donation today. Due to the unprecedented public health crisis, the Food Bank is experiencing a lot of unplanned expenses. Learn more about how you can donate here.
  • Donate goods. Food and toiletry items are being accepted at the drop-off location on Dino Drive. Donations will be accepted at the warehouse between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday. To learn more and see what items are needed, go here.
  • Volunteers are wanted. The Food Bank will follow recommendation guidelines from the Sacramento Public Health Department and the California Department of Public to ensure the health and safety of everyone involved. Learn more about volunteering opportunities here.

A big thank you to everyone for doing their part to protect our communities and provide essentials to those in need.

The Food Bank is committed to serving the Elk Grove community during this difficult time. Your contributions are needed today more than ever. Together, we will meet the challenge.
