PumpkinFEST 2019 Elk Grove, October 2 Welcome the autumn season with open arms during the month-long PumpkinFEST at Bradley Winery. General admission will get you access to unlimited wagon rides, bounce house jumps, a hay bale pyramid and other family-friendly activities. The kids will love Saturday night movie nights, and adults are invited to partake in tastings of the winery’s varietals.
Elk Grove Giant Pumpkin Festival, October 5 – 6 Celebrate all things pumpkin at the annual Pumpkin Festival, first celebrated in 1994. The popular event will feature a giant pumpkin weigh-off, pumpkin pie-eating contest, the Pumpkin Regatta and tons of entertainment for the whole family.
Starry Nightmare Paint and Sip, October 10 Sip on wine while you create a seasonal masterpiece to take home at this fun night out. First-time painters and skilled artists alike are invited to pick up a paintbrush and a glass while you create your very own Halloween-themed version of Van Gogh’s famous painting.
Sixth Annual Blues for Brews Fundraiser, October 12 Raise a glass while you honor the men and women who have served our community at the Sixth Annual Brews for Blues fundraising event. Enjoy delicious BBQ and frosty pours from Thin Line Brewing, Dreaming Dog, Tilted Mash and other breweries. Your ticket will include dinner, unlimited brews, raffles and more. All funds raised from the event will go towards the End of Watch Fund.
Marketplace 99’s 3rd Annual Dia de los Muertos Event, October 25 Join fellow community members for an entirely free, culture-rich event that has a little bit of something for everyone. Eventgoers will enjoy an Aztec dance and drum performance, traditional Aztec arts and crafts on display and a live DJ spinning tunes. Kids are invited to get their faces painted and jump around in the bounce houses.
