Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just want to grab a nice cold beer after a long day of work, you’re sure to find a spot to toast at within Elk Grove’s growing craft beer community.

Here’s a roundup of a few local brew houses and events to celebrate our local beer scene at.

Tilted Mash Brewing

Delicious craft brews with catchy names isn’t the only thing Tilted Mash is brewing up. Every fourth Thursday, you can catch a side of comedy with your suds at “Tilted Masterpiece Theatre Free Comedy.” Visitors can grab one of their award-winning pours on tap, or enjoy their brews straight out of the can.

Hungry Pecker Brewery

The newest brewery to hit the Elk Grove scene is getting ready to open its doors in Old Town this year. The brewery’s founders, three lifelong Elk Grove residents, have made their sense of community and plans to stay in Elk Grove for a long time very clear during planning meetings. The name of the brewery is a nod to local woodpeckers, and they’ve gained inspiration from other local breweries. In addition to craft brews, Hungry Pecker plans to serve up live music.

Flatland Brewing Company

Get Hoppy at Flatland! Whether you’re into light, dark, tart or hoppy brews, Flatland has a pour for every flavor preference, and food trucks often make an appearance so you can grab a bite while you sample their small-batch brews. Feel free to make it a family affair; the brewery welcomes visitors of all ages, two-legged or four!

Waterman Brewing

When you’re feeling thirsty, don’t forget to make a pit stop by Waterman’s tap room. While you’re enjoying their beers, you can watch the magic happen behind-the-scenes with viewing windows that give a peek into the brewhouse and brewmaster. The fun never stops at Waterman; they offer NFL games on a big screen, live music, trivia night and jam night.

Elk Grove Brewfest

Celebrate all things local beer at one of our favorite local events that just keeps growing every year! This year’s Elk Grove Brewfest will feature 60+ local breweries, cideries and meaderies, local food trucks and live music on two stages. Don’t forget to grab your tickets before this popular event sells out!
